AUSTIN (KXAN) - Mack Brown is searching for four assistant coaches including both an offensive and defensive coordinator.? Will Muschamp will be formally introduced as head coach at Florida on Tuesday evening.? Muschamp's departure means Brown will be hiring his fifth defensive coordinator since 2004.? On the other side of the ball Brown will be making his first offensive coordinator hire since his North Carolina days in the mid-90's when Greg Davis joined his staff at UNC.

There are so many effected by the changes including future Longhorns.? Texas has verbal commitments from 23 high school seniors.? One of those seniors is Lake Travis offensive lineman Taylor Doyle.? Doyle is dealing with the loss of not only the coordinator that recruited him in Greg Davis, but his position coach in Mac McWhorter and now with Muschamp, who could have been his head coach depending on how long Brown decided to coach.

"Well the coaching staff at the University of Texas was a big part of my decision to go there," said Doyle on Monday.? "I loved all the guys, all the men there, and it was really tough seeing them leave, I was really close to coach McWhorter, I hate to see him go.? "At the end of the day I have faith in coach Brown that he's going to recruit the best coaches possible."

Doyle's more pressing issue is saturdays? 4A Division 1 State Championship game against Denton Ryan at Cowboys Stadium.? The Cavaliers are looking for their 4th straight state title.? Doyle knows a little about coaching changes.? First year coach Hank Carter will try to become the third different coach to lead them to a title during this streak.
