SAN MARCOS, TX (KXAN) - Sessom Drive, a major street for getting around the Texas State campus area, was closed Sunday.

A 12-inch water main broke late Saturday night, damaging the road and cutting off water service to a nearby shopping center and the university's Physical Plant.

Sessom is closed between North L-B-J and Peques Street until further notice while repair crews go to work.
Crews repaired the pipe and opened up one westbound lane to traffic around 8 p.m. Sunday, but they still have some work to do.
