Police search for yogurt shop burglar

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Police want help catching a burglar from last week, he smashed in the front door to break into a west Austin yogurt shop.

Snow House Yogurt on Far West Boulevard between MoPac and Mesa Drive, was hit November 3rd around 4:45 am.

Surveillance cameras show the suspect using a tool to shatter the front door.

"The guy who broke my door - he's broken my heart. I'm so sad," said shop owner Li Fen Chen.

The suspect stole the cash register and got away in less than two minutes. Officials aren't saying how much money was in the register at the time.

"They had a hard time finding fingerprints," said assistant manager Vivian Kaw. "So they said, in their opinion, this guy was a professional.

Police told the Snow House staff another business down the street was burglarized that same morning, they're still investigating whether the crimes are connected.
