HAYS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) - Gerardo Delarosa, 39, was sentenced to 45 years in prison Monday for aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Hays County jurors took less than one hour in convicting the Kyle resident last month after several days of testimony.
The sexual abuse of the child, which began when the child was seven, continued for four years until the child was 11.
Delarosa faced a punishment of five years to life in prison.
